The Deputy Governor Wants the Rector of IKesT MP to Print Excellent Human Resources

PALEMBANG, The Indonesia Post – Deputy Governor of South Sumatra H Mawardi Yahya asked the ranks of the Palembang Muhammadiyah Institute of Health and Technology (IKesT MP) to produce superior Human Resources (HR) and able to innovate so that future IKesT MP alumni are able to compete in providing maximum health services to the community .

“Alumni from IKesT MP must be alumni who are mentally prepared. That understanding must be instilled from now on. They (alumni) must be able to compete,” said Deputy Governor Mawardi Yahya when receiving the IKesT MP Rector’s invitation in the Deputy Governor’s living room, Wednesday (18/11) ).

The Deputy Governor added that he reminded the IKesT MP to be able to train his students to become alumni who prioritize courtesy, good character and ethics.

“The IKesT MP must have distinctive features. That must be emphasized. We must think about the alumni later. Polite manners must also be possessed by the alumni of the IKesT MP so that the image of the IKesT MP will be better,” he explained.

He emphasized that the South Sumatra Provincial Government itself will support the progress of the IKesT MP.

“Of course the Provincial Government will not close its eyes to the progress of the IKesT MP. The progress of the IKesT MP is of course the progress of South Sumatra,” he hoped.

Meanwhile, the Rector of the IKesT MP, Heri Shatriadi, said that the IKesT MP was originally named the Palembang Muhammadiyah College of Health (Stikes MP). Where IKesT MP provides various Study Programs (Prodi) such as nursing midwifery, environmental health, nutrition, information systems and others.

“This is the first in South Sumatra. Next year we will develop it again by building campus B in the Sungai Pinang area, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency,” he reported.

He conveyed, IKesT MP will try to produce alumni who are able to compete.

“We are trying to do this. Since the beginning we are committed to producing alumni who are ready to be mentally distinctive,” he concluded.

Also attending the activity, Assistant III for Administration and General Affairs Prof. Dr. Edwar Juliartha, Head of the South Sumatra Provincial Education Office Drs Riza Pahlevi, Head of the IKesT MP Daily Coaching Bandan Drs Hasbi Ashshidiqqi, Deputy Chancellor I IKesT MP Murbiah, Deputy Rector II IKesT MP Riska Marlin, Deputy Rector III Imam Haryoko and OPD within the South Sumatra Provincial Government.
