The Head of the South Sumatra DWP Hj Reny Nasrun Sumringah Receives the Visit of the West Sumatra DWP

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Chairman of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Province of South Sumatra (Sumsel), Hj. Reny Nasrun Umar received a working visit from the Head of the West Sumatra (Sumbar) DWP Province, Ny. Elinda Alwis at the Sriwijaya Dharma Wanita Building, Jalan Rajawali Palembang, Monday (26/10).

The visit of the West Sumatra Provincial DWP was not only for the purpose of friendship, but also for coordination in order to harmonize the work programs of the DWPs from the two provinces.

Chairman of the South Sumatra Provincial DWP, Hj. On the occasion, Reny Nasrun Umar expressed his gratitude as well as his welcome to Bumi Sriwijaya to the Head of the West Sumatra Provincial DWP and his entourage.

“Thank you very much for visiting the South Sumatra DWP Secretariat. This is our pride. And welcome to Bumi Sriwijaya,” she said with a tone full of joy.

In front of his guest, Hj. Reny Nasrun said that there were many work programs that had been carried out under his leadership, although movement was limited during the COVID-19 pandemic, she was still active with productive social activities.

“The South Sumatra DWP management continues to contribute in suppressing the problems that arise due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” she said.

She said routine activities were still being carried out by holding Webinars with the Central and Regency / City DWP administrators in South Sumatra.

“We are also actively socializing to the public regarding the Covid-19 pandemic. Training in making face shields with MSMEs and also distributing masks and groceries,” she explained.

Hj. Reny hopes that the meeting held between the South Sumatra and West Sumatra DWP will grow a sense of mutual support, especially in strengthening the existence of DWP as the wife organization of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN).

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the West Sumatra Province DWP, Ny. Elinda Alwis expressed her gratitude for the welcome and good coordination from the South Sumatra DWP.

“We feel proud of the extraordinary welcome. We have learned a lot from the South Sumatra DWP management regarding future work programs,” she said. (mhn/ril)
