Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Acting Governor of South Sumatra (Sumsel) Elen Setiadi received Professor of Cyber Law, Faculty of Law, Padjajaran University (UNPAD), Prof. Dr. Ahmad M. Ramli, S.H, M.H, FCB.Arb, CRGP in the context of friendship, located in the Guest Room of the Governor of South Sumatra, Wednesday (10/07/2024).
Also present on this occasion were the Head of the Center for Cyber Law Studies and Digital PLW Transformation, Faculty of Law, UNPAD, Tasya Safira, Secretary of the Directorate General of Postal and Informatics Services, Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia, Indra Maulana, Head of the Legal and Cooperation Team, Directorate General of PPI, Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia, Ardian Rahardjo.
Through this meeting, Prof. Dr. Ahmad M. Ramli said that his visit to Palembang was in the context of holding an FGD related to Artificial Intelligence (AI).
“Thank you for taking the time, Mr. Governor, actually my friends came to Palembang this is the second day of the FGD implementation regarding Artificial Intelligence for personal data protection,” he said.
Meanwhile, Acting Governor of South Sumatra Elen Setiadi said that digital transformation must run well. In this case, the Provincial Government will fully support it.
“Like other regions, we will participate and support digital transformation to run well and it would be better if it was done from the start,” said Elen.
