Acting Governor Fatoni Review Health Education and Free Treatment

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, Budi Karya Sumadi, accompanied by the Acting Governor of South Sumatra, Agus Fatoni, reviewed health education and free treatment for the community and distribution of gifts in the context of National Transportation Day 2023 at Jl. Remifa RT 18 Ogan Baru Village, Kertapati Palembang District (Simpang Sungki), Saturday, (14/10/2023).

Present at this activity was the Head of the South Sumatra Transportation Service, Ari Narsa, and the Head of the South Sumatra Health Service, Dr. H. Trisnawarman, M. Kes, SpKKLP. On that occasion, around 200 recipients of free medical treatment and 500 basic food packages were prepared.

The Indonesian Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi, said that this activity was carried out as a form of sympathy for treatment for people in need.

“This activity needs to be carried out to check public health, that way we know whether further action is needed regarding the patient’s health condition. Or we can also determine what steps need to be taken to treat the disease that is being infected,” he said.

In line with the Minister of Transportation, Acting Governor of South Sumatra Agus Fatoni welcomed the implementation of this activity. He hopes that people will continue to maintain their own health.

“Don’t forget to continue to control your health, maintain your diet, get enough rest, live a clean life, and wear a mask if the environment is full of smoke,” he advised.

According to him, a health check will help us find out our condition and what treatment steps need to be taken. (mhn/bbs)
