Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Acting (Acting) Governor of South Sumatra Agus Fatoni together with the South Sumatra Forkopimda attended the reception evening for Pangdam 11 / Sriwijaya, from Maj. Gen. TNI Yanuar Adil to Maj. Gen. TNI Naudi Nurdika, at Makodam Sriwijaya II, Monday (22/04/2024).
Starting his remarks, the Acting Governor of South Sumatra, Agus Fatoni, expressed his gratitude for the dedication and hard work of the ranks of the Sriwijaya Regional Military Command II, especially the Sriwijaya Military Commander II, in carrying out their duties in South Sumatra.
“We have been successful in handling forest and land fires, and thank God we have been given the opportunity to present strategies for handling forest and land fires on the international stage,” he said.
He continued that we need to continue to work together in carrying out our duties and welcomed the new Sriwijaya Military Commander II, Major General TNI Naudi Nurdika.
“Congratulations on your duties, congratulations on carrying out your mandate on the land of Sriwijaya, hopefully you can continue the leadership relay well,” he hoped
Furthermore, Maj. Gen. TNI Yanuar Adil expressed his feelings of emotion and pride while serving as Pangdam II Sriwijaya for carrying out his duties as best as possible and completing the big tasks in South Sumatra.
“Thank God, we have carried out our tasks and can protect South Sumatra well, there is the task of handling forest and land fires, there are floods, of course recently our election security task has been completed,” he said.
Furthermore, Major General TNI Naudi Nurdika as the new Sriwijaya Military Commander II stated that this was a tough challenge in implementing the programs and required cooperation from all parties.
“We are not superheroes, but we are a super team carrying out tasks, and we are ready to support in carrying out collaborative tasks in South Sumatra,” he said.
In this series of events, it felt intimate and lively, plus there were gifts of souvenirs from various elements of the Institution to Maj. Gen. TNI Yanuar Adil who had completed his duties as Commander of the Second Sriwijaya Regional Military Command.
Also present was the Head of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office, Dr. Yulianto S.H., M.H, Chair of the South Sumatra DPRD R.A Anita Noeringhati S.H M.H and Heads of South Sumatra Provincial OPD. (mhn/ril)
