Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra Herman Deru officially inaugurated the Acting Regent (Pj) Musi Banyuasin (Muba) Apriyadi, at Griya Agung Palembang, Monday (30/5/2022).
A number of parties hope that with the presence of the acting regional head, the wheels of government in the rich district will continue to run.
“What is certain, with the inauguration of PJ Muba, we hope that the wheels of government can be carried out again, in accordance with the policies of the previous leaders,” said South Sumatra Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD) chairman RA Anita Noeringhati, Monday (30/5/2022).
This Golkar party politician explained that this PJ Regent will not change anything (policy), because after all the RPMJD has been determined, so it remains only to continue what has been planned.
“Don’t give the impression that this is something because PJ Muba is also an insider himself, is the regional secretary there, who already knows what to do.
So we hope that I am the chairman of the South Sumatra DPRD, of course I hope that with the appointment of the regional secretary of Muba Regency to be the PJ, of course this PJ will know better.
Which one should come first and which one should be made a strategic priority,” she explained.
On the other hand, although the Acting Regent of Muba was “polemic” because it was not a proposal from the Governor of South Sumatra, she hoped that relations between the Muba Regency Government and the South Sumatra Provincial Government would remain good.
“We also hope for coordination with the provincial government because how the governor is implementing his policies on infrastructure like before, I was also whispering during the plenary session that there are roads that need to be repaired immediately, so that there should be no complaints, especially Muba. it is a crossing area to Palembang,” she said.
Anita continued, with the number of regional heads having the status of Acting or Plt/Plh until the 2024 Pilkada, whoever has been appointed by the central government should be accepted and it is hoped that they will know the area itself.
“So, if we talk from the DPRD, of course we hope that this PJ is not political, but this PJ is as an official who carries out the mandate to run the wheels of government, so that there is no stagnation.
So I think that the central government, which has the authority to appoint an Acting Officer, has taken that into account,” she concluded. (mhn/bbs/ril)
