Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra, H. Herman Deru (HD) together with Deputy Governor of South Sumatra, H. Cik Ujang (CU) attended the peak celebration of the 7th anniversary of Siti Fatimah Regional General Hospital on Thursday, (6/26/2025).
In his speech, HD appreciated the achievements that have been obtained by the Siti Fatimah Regional General Hospital (RSUD) during its 7 (seven) years of existence. He requested that these achievements be maintained and further improved.
“The award status received during these 7 years is a whip that is attached to this hospital. Therefore, I hope that Siti Fatimah Regional General Hospital can maintain its performance and improve services in maintaining this status,” said HD.
HD added that with the achievements that have been obtained, of course it is proof that the services provided are good which have been recognized by various institutions that give awards.
Related to his great ideals in making South Sumatra a health tourism destination or better known as Sumsel Health Tourism.
HD asked all hospitals in South Sumatra to provide excellent service to the community in a friendly and professional manner so that public trust in seeking treatment in South Sumatra increases and this great ideal can be achieved.
“South Sumatra health tourism is not easy, but we must go through it in a way where each hospital must have its own advantages, such as Siti Fatimah Hospital with its advantages in heart services,” said HD.
HD also reminded that in addition to friendly and professional service. The appearance of the hospital is also important to be a concern so that public trust in hospitals in South Sumatra increases.
“Visually important and service is also important. So I hope these health workers must provide maximum and friendly service to patients. If not, this will damage the performance of the hospital,” said HD
At the end of his speech, HD asked Siti Fatimah Hospital to continue to develop with innovations in improving services to the community. (rys/ril)
