Deputy Governor Mawardi Yahya Invites KAI South Sumatra to Maintain Pancasila

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Pancasila is the ideological pillar of the Indonesian state. Pancasila is the formulation and guidelines for the life of the nation and state for all Indonesian people that have been established by the founders of the nation.

However, some time ago there was a group that wanted to change Pancasila as the basis of the state. Therefore, Deputy Governor of South Sumatra Mawardi Yahya invited all elements of society in this case the South Sumatra Indonesian Advocates Congress (KAI) to maintain Pancasila as the basis of the state.

“It is proper for Indonesian citizens to defend Pancasila as the basis of the state as an effort to maintain the values contained in Pancasila and to realize them in everyday life”, said Mawardi in his office, when receiving an audience from the DPD KAI South Sumatra, Monday (31/08 / 2020) noon.

According to him, the efforts to change the basis of the state that had appeared some time ago by a number of parties were not good things to do. “That is inappropriate. Especially in the midst of the current situation in our country which is currently facing difficult times,” he said.

“We appreciate the efforts of DPD KAI. If possible, later the symposium will be opened by Governor Herman Deru,” he said.
