Palembang, The Indonesia Post – After H. Herman Deru and H. Cik Ujang were officially inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace as Governor and Deputy Governor of South Sumatra for the 2025-2030 period, Thursday (20/2/2025).
The Governor of South Sumatra, H. Herman Deru and the Deputy Governor of South Sumatra, H. Cik Ujang delivered their inaugural speeches full of enthusiasm and hope.
Herman Deru expressed his gratitude for the trust given by the community and invited all elements to work together to build a better South Sumatra.
“The atmosphere has not changed, only age has increased. This makes us understand the problems in South Sumatra better and find the best solutions,” said Herman Deru enthusiastically.
Not only that, Herman Deru also gave strict instructions to all Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) to immediately provide reports regarding programs that have been running for the past 1 year and 4 months. The goal is to evaluate and determine the priority of programs that will be implemented in accordance with the HDCU 2025-2030 vision and mission.
“I want to bring the community to be better than it is now,” he said.
Meanwhile, Cik Ujang, as Deputy Governor, invited all State Civil Apparatus (ASN) to remain solid and compact in running the government until 2030.
This inaugural speech was attended by the heads of OPDs within the South Sumatra Provincial Government. (ojn/ril)
