HD Asks PGN to Intensify PGN’s Gas Network Distribution Program #Safe Safe Practical

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru (HD) received an audience from the Directors of PT. Pertamina Gas Negara (PGN) in the context of friendship. Through this opportunity, HD welcomed the plan submitted by PGN to maximize state policy in distributing PGN’s gas network in the South Sumatra region.

In this regard, HD asked PGN’s Director of Sales & Operations, Faris Aziz, to intensify socialization and provide understanding to the public about the distribution of the gas network in question and the positive impacts that can be felt by the community if they switch from LPG to PGN’s Gas Network.

“I ask PGN to cooperate with Public Relations and District/City Communications and Information Technology in disseminating this government policy, so that regional heads and the public will understand the good impacts that will be obtained if switching to the Gas Network. If necessary, you can also reach out to the South Sumatra Literacy Ambassador to socialize it,” said HD.

HD hopes that PGN can cooperate with the existing Stove Industry so that people who want to switch already get one package with their stove.

“I will also connect this policy with the Sumsel Mandiri Food program. Where we will reduce people’s expenses. Sumsel Mandiri Energi can reduce their living costs, but the socialization must be conveyed that it is low cost, efficient and safe not free and involves BUMD in regions. Such as payments using the Bank Sumsel Babel, “said HD.

In addition, HD also asked PGN to develop its payment technology into Prepaid (token) such as PLN.

Meanwhile, PGN’s Director of Sales & Operations, Faris Aziz said that the gas network quota provided by PGN to South Sumatra was 125,000 gas networks for 2022. Also present Ka. Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of South Sumatra Province (mhn/ojn/ril)
