Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru attended the video conference of the coordination meeting related to the construction of the Tanjung Carat Port which was led by the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation Dr.(HC). Ir. Budi Karya Sumadi.
Minister of Transportation Budi said this activity was carried out in coordination with the South Sumatra Provincial Government to evaluate the progress of Tanjung Carat Port development.
On that occasion, Budi directed the South Sumatra Provincial Government to immediately accelerate the progress of Tanjung Carat Port development. By involving various teams of experts from the ministry, local government, and the private sector.
“The development of the Tanjung Carat Port can be accelerated with good cooperation and according to the planned time schedule,” he said.
The Minister of Transportation hopes that evaluations will continue to be carried out to ensure that all projects can run on time and that Tanjung Carat Port becomes a legacy for the Ministry of Transportation and the South Sumatra Provincial Government.
Meanwhile, Governor HD expressed his gratitude on behalf of the people of South Sumatra for the commitment from the Minister of Home Affairs in accelerating the construction of Tanjung Carat Port.
To support this, HD claimed to have created a task force team to accelerate the development process as planned.
On that occasion, HD also reported various technical matters related to the progress of the administrative process needed to follow up on the ground breaking progress and there was a real follow-up on development. (ojn/ril)
