Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru attended the 2022 Bhayangkara 76th Anniversary Ceremony virtually with the theme of the Precise Police Anniversary supporting economic recovery and structural reforms to realize a Resilient Indonesia, Growing Indonesia.
The ceremony for the 76th anniversary of the Bhayangkara National Police (Polri) was held directly at the Bhayangkara Field of the Police Academy in Semarang, Central Java and led by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo.
Starting his speech, President Joko Widodo wished you a Happy 76th Bhayangkara Day, and appreciated the role of the National Police in defending the people, nation and state.
On that occasion, Jokowi advised the Police to work with caution and precision. He also conveyed several directions for the Police, including the Police to continue to play a role in handling the Covid-19 pandemic, ensuring Kamtibmas.

Meanwhile, Governor HD said that the South Sumatra Provincial Government was ready to align itself with what the President of the Republic of Indonesia directed in the context of this Bhayangkara Anniversary.
“This area is adjusting, especially as we will face the G20, simultaneous regional elections, my advice is the South Sumatra Police to maintain stamina and physical fitness because in carrying out their duties they need fitness,” he said.
