Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru said that one of the obligations of regional heads related to regional financial management is to submit a Raperda of regional budget (APBD) accountability no later than 6 months after the fiscal year ends and has been audited by Financial Audit Agency (BPK RI).
This was stated when attending the LI Plenary Meeting (51) of the Legislative Council (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province with the Agenda, Submission of Explanations on the Raperda on Accountability for the Implementation of the Regional Budget of South Sumatra Province FY 2021.
“The results of the BPK audit of the financial statements for the 2021 fiscal year, the South Sumatra Provincial Government has received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency and has been submitted to the Plenary Meeting of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Monday, April 25, 2022,” he said.
HD explained that the South Sumatra Provincial Government’s financial report for the 2021 fiscal year illustrates that the value of assets has increased by 4.10% from the previous 31 December 2021 of IDR 31.99 trillion to IDR 33.30 trillion.
According to HD, the South Sumatra Provincial Government has made every effort to increase development according to the priority scale set in 2021.
“Optimization of sources of income and efficiency of spending has always been a concern so that the APBD can be used as effectively and efficiently as possible in improving people’s welfare,” he stressed.
