HD Hands Over Operational Cars and Rice Assistance to the South Sumatra Online Driver Association

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra, H. Herman Deru (HD) Attended the Iftar with the Management of the South Sumatra DPD Online Driver Association (ADO) which was held at the ADO Secretariat JL. Campus Hockey Block D/6 Ex. Lorok Pakjo Kec. Ilir Barat 1, Palembang City.

Through the gathering moment, HD was appointed as Mr. Online Driver for South Sumatra by the ADO Management.

Through this opportunity, HD also provided an operational car unit to the ADO Management to support the activities of the ADO Rapid Response Unit (URC) in patrolling and monitoring the activities of Online Drivers in making a living. In addition, HD also symbolically handed over rice aid to ADO members.

“ADO is an organization that is very strong in fraternity and also solid in reaching the expectations of each of its members in providing for their families”, said HD.

HD is also very grateful for ADO’s role as a forum for Ojek Online workers so that Ojol can be given attention and help for those who have problems.

“Why am I never absent from any ADO activities, because this is a form of expression of my gratitude to those of you who have contributed to South Sumatra in maintaining the stability of the South Sumatran economy in the midst of a pandemic,” said HD.

Closing his speech, HD advised ADO to maintain the trust of its customers and HD hoped for ADO members to be able to develop their profession and try to run other businesses outside their profession as Online Driver (Ojol).

“I hope that Asrul and his friends can develop this profession and their ideals should not be too far from transportation activities,” said HD.

“The key to success in business is consistency, consequence, and speed (the speed of taking opportunities). These three things you must have if you want to be a successful person”, said HD.
