Palembang, The Indonesia Post – South Sumatra Governor H. Herman Deru attended the 44th Bachelor and Master Graduation Ceremony of the Candradimuka College of Social and Political Sciences (STISIPOL) in 2023.
HD said STISIPOL could survive until now because of the trust of the government and the public. HD advised all universities, including STISIPOL, to improve communication with all regulators regarding higher education.
“The education you have received needs to be accompanied by character education. There is no use in higher education if there is no character. My message is to be an ethical human resource. Be a good and useful person,” he said.
HD hopes that the pride of the graduates will be sustainable and linear with their actions in society.
Chairman of STISIPOL Candradimuka, Dr.Hj. Lishapsari Prihatini, M.Sc., appreciated Governor HD’s support for improving the accreditation of STISIPOL and other private universities in order to improve their quality.
“The current education pattern needs to involve students doing research and going directly into society. STISIPOL is always ready to collaborate with various institutions to improve the quality of existing education,” he said.
It is hoped that the graduation ceremony will give a deep and solemn impression to the graduates. We appreciate the achievements and accomplishments that students have achieved. Hopefully the alumni can compete well in society.
