Palembang, The Indonesia Post – After performing the Tarawih prayer service, the Governor of South Sumatra, H. Herman Deru (HD) gave directions to all South Sumatra Province Health Service Workers, especially Health Workers (Nakes) to jointly remind the public of the importance of taking preventive measures in maintaining health.
“Let’s change the people’s mindset from curative to preventive action. We are not proud if the hospital is crowded. While we are equipping all the health facilities, we must also change the people’s mindset to maintain their health so they don’t get sick,” said HD.
HD also invites all elements to voice it. like GSMP, this change in mindset must be exemplary by everyone, such as religious leaders, community leaders and all other elements.
“This also needs to be assisted by community leaders, religious leaders who are heard by the community to take preventive action rather than cure,” said HD.
Apart from that, HD also expressed its gratitude for the maximum performance that has been carried out by Health Workers in South Sumatra during the past Covid-19 pandemic.
“During the last Covid, everything was gripping. Civil society and others were filled with fear, even to shake hands we changed our ways. But health workers must continue to work to serve the community in the midst of these problems. This is what we have to appreciate together.
