HD Invites People to Change Mindset About Veterinarians

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru invited people to change their mindset regarding veterinarians so that their interested in animals.

This was said when receiving the Chairman of the Indonesian Veterinarian Association (PDHI) Branch of South Sumatra, Dr. drh. Jafrizal, M.M and his staff in the context of gathering and in connection with the inauguration of the South Sumatra branch of the PDHI Management for the period 2021-2025.

“There are many things that need to be developed about animals, especially livestock with economic and even commercial value,” said Governor Herman Deru (HD).

HD said that many things, such as poultry farming, namely ornamental chickens and local wisdom, this rice field buffalo will help people to support their families and make the community prosperous because such livestock will have much economic value.

“I invite the doctors to make an external inventory of what will be done to help the community’s economy,” said HD.

Clearly HD, all societies and organizations can propose what will be formed and what is the purpose. What is clear is that the aim is to build a progressive South Sumatra for all with the aim of the welfare of the community.

“I thank the South Sumatra Indonesian Veterinary Medicine Association (PDHI) for the performance and contribution of the South Sumatra Indonesian Veterinary Medicine Association (PDHI) continuously and consistently and always be more professional in terms of working for the benefit of society, especially in work related to animal health,” he concluded.
