Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru invites every element of society in South Sumatra to maintain zero conflicts in South Sumatra by preventing various potential divisions, one of which is the ego of a certain tribe.
This was revealed when he was a resource person at a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the topic “South Sumatra Zero Conflict Towards Advanced South Sumatra For All” and handling the covid-19 pandemic including the implementation of the vaccination program.
“As a prevention effort, we have issued a local wisdom regulation to remind us that we are citizens of South Sumatra. I hope that this activity will get good results in the future, so that it can maintain Zero Conflict which is the Icon of South Sumatra,” he said.
Besides that, HD said that this activity is also expected to be a way to strengthen the relationship and plan work for the future.
In this FGD, one of the topics discussed was how to enforce discipline on health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic but remain productive and must be able to distinguish Super Priorities between the health, economic, priority and general sectors.
Meanwhile, the South Sumatra Police Chief, Inspector General of Police Drs. Toni Harmanto, M. H. said this FGD activity aimed to increase synergy in observing the situation of Community Security and Order (Kamtibmas) in the South Sumatra Region by discussing existing issues with the concept of the Multi Door System.
“We have to find a solution to solve every problem that exists together, as well as through Early Warning, which is more to prevent issues from becoming problems in the community so that the solutions obtained from FGDs can prevent other problems from arising in the future,” he said.
