Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The inauguration of 50 Heritage Flag-raising Troops (Paskibraka) members of South Sumatra Province in 2022 by the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru, was the beginning of his duty at the raising and lowering of the red and white flag during the commemoration of the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia at the Griya Agung courtyard on August 17, 2022.
Governor Herman Deru hopes that the commemoration of the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia can take place well.
It is known that the Paskibraka who were inaugurated were selected students from various schools in 17 regencies and cities in South Sumatra.
The inauguration ceremony was very solemn. In fact, after the ceremony was held, the paskibraka members demonstrated their solidarity through chants.
Appearing to be present at the ceremony were Pangdam II/Sriwijaya TNI Major General Agus Suhardi, South Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Toni Harmanto, Deputy Chairman of the South Sumatra DPRD Muchendi Mahrazeki, Heads of South Sumatra Province OPD, Purna Paskibraka from various generations.
