Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru said that when it comes to licensing he will fully support whatever it is, for the benefit of the community where the health profession is an intellectual profession in serving the community with etiquette and needs to be careful in these services.
This was stated when receiving an audience from the South Sumatra Health Professional Organization led by the Chairman of Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) for the South Sumatra region, Dr. Abla Ghani, SpENT (K).
“I am ready to listen to doctors, what is the most crucial thing to follow up for the existence of health professionals and public health,” said Governor Herman Deru (HD).
The presence of these health professional organizations was in the context of meeting with the Governor who was accompanied by the Chairman of the South Sumatra PPNI H. Dedi Trisaputra, S.Fram, Head of IROPIN South Sumatra Region Tendy Oktavian, AMd.RO, SE, and Chairman of PD IFI South Sumatra Usman, S. Pd., M. Kes.
As a form of support, HD is ready to write a letter of recommendation to the House of Representatives (DPR RI), the commission in charge and even to the President regarding what health matters and the situation is happening in South Sumatra so that health service activities in the community will be maximized.
“As an intellectual profession in the health sector. I hope to maintain cohesiveness both internally and externally” concluded HD.
The chairman of IDI for the South Sumatra region, Dr. Abla Ghani, SpTHT (K) said, thank God, the audience with Governor Herman Deru went very well and smoothly and reported that there would be a declaration from the Indonesian Doctors Association and related health professional organizations in South Sumatra on Saturday (12/11/2022).
