HD: Prioritize Quranic Tahfidz activities first, then building facilities

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru (HD) while carrying out the Friday safari said that the main thing in the Tahfidz House program is that the activities begin first.

Thus, later through the 1 village 1 house tahfidz program which was rolled out by the South Sumatra Provincial Government, the facilities will be built.

HD explained, at several points the tahfidz house stood independently. However, in the vision and mission of the Governor of South Sumatra together with the Deputy Governor of South Sumatra to realize 1 village, 1 house of tahfidz.

“The shape of the Tahfidz house was initially imagined as a building, even though the priority was on the activities before the building was built,” said HD

To start this, HD provided assistance of Rp. 125 million to the management of the Jami An-Nur Mosque which was intended for tahfidz qur’an activities and repairing mosque facilities.

Meanwhile, the administrator of the Jami An-Nur Mosque, Harni Susanto, expressed his gratitude for the presence of the governor in the midst of the community around the Jami An-Nur Mosque which was founded in 2001.

“Alhamdulillah, this mosque is never lonely, we as administrators continue to prosper this mosque. Then we also want to build a tahfidz house in this mosque. There are many things that we still lack, so we expect direction and guidance from the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru,” he concluded.

Also present were the President Director of Bank Sumsel Babel, Achmad Syamsudin and other OPD heads of South Sumatra Province. (mhn/ril)
