Palembang, The Indonesia Post – South Sumatra Governor H Herman Deru pays more attention to travelers to celebrate Idul Fitri 1444 Hijriah. With the support of the Sumsel Babel Bank, through the Free Homecoming with the Governor program to his hometown, HD was present in person at the Live Chat Talkvisit event with travelers with the theme “HOME WITH THE GOVERNOR”.
The Governor Symbolically Releasing the Free Homecoming Train for the Community is marked by the 40 mottos carried out by PPKA officers by lifting a stick with green circular signs (eblek) with white edges.
HD conveyed that the enthusiasm of the Mudik Community this year was extraordinary, therefore the South Sumatra Provincial Government, supported by the Sumsel Babel Bank, facilitated free homecoming so that there would not be too much congestion and accumulation of homecoming flows.
“Because the flow of homecoming is very congested, one of the solutions is that the Provincial Government facilitates Mudik with Rail and Bus Modes of Transportation. Later after this I will also release travelers who use buses in Alang-Alang Lebar. By using this mode of transportation, apart from being very economical cost, saving time is also very efficient” explained HD.
On that occasion also, the Awarding of Free Homecoming Transportation Awards was carried out to Bank Sumsel Babel and PT. KAI (Persero) Divre III Palembang. (mhn/ril)
