Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru after inaugurating and confirming the management of the Nadahtul Ulama Association (ISNU) PC of Muara Enim Regency reminded that the appointed management can be role models and can exchange knowledge
“The meaning of ISNU’s inauguration is to show that when you become a member of ISNU, you are definitely a scholar. You can also play the role of an intellectual who sets a good example in the form of actions, words, and behavior to society,” said HD
There are many things that ISNU can do that support government programs and are useful for the community
“Currently the government continues to work to reduce the stunting rate. Stunting is not only influenced by factors after the baby is born, but before the baby is born. We can take advantage of the role of 6 thousand Posyandu spread across South Sumatra to provide education about stunting prevention. It is proven that currently South Sumatra is included in the Province with the largest number of reductions in the stunting rate. From the initial 24.8%, now it’s only 18% “Clearly HD.
Apart from that, what ISNU can do is assist the government in improving food security through the South Sumatra Independent Food Movement (GSMP).
” 1 year after the launch of the GSMP, South Sumatra was included in the 10 best provinces for controlling inflation. It is proven that changing the mindset from consumers to producers can improve people’s welfare. Each house has ornamental flower plants in pots. Try replacing some of the pots by planting chilies, tomatoes, various vegetables” asked HD
At the end of his remarks, HD hoped that by starting the construction of the PCNU building, it would make the NU organization more productive and focused on one area.
Muara Enim Regent Ahmad Usmarwi Kaffah, SH also reminded us to always be united, not to be divided and to always look ahead.
At the end of the event, HD laid the first stone to mark the commencement of the construction of the District PCNU Building. Muara Enim. (mhn/ril)
