Lampung, The Indonesia Post – Deputy Governor of Lampung Chusnunia Chalim appealed to the public to adhere to health protocols (prokes) after the tourist attraction was reopened after the temporary closure of the Idul Fitri 1442 Hijriah holiday.
“It is hoped that the public will be able to adhere to health protocols when visiting tourist attractions,” said Chusnunia Chalim, in Bandar Lampung.
She said this was done to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in tourist attractions after tourist attractions had reopened.
“For the public, it would be better not to travel first because COVID-19 cases are still increasing, to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” she also said.
According to her, even though today the tourist attraction is back in operation, the Lampung Provincial Government will continue to conduct further evaluations and studies to ensure that there are no COVID-19 clusters from tourist attractions.
“Of course the evaluation will continue to be carried out, we will adjust it to the existing situation because we must not be careless so that there is no transmission in tourist attractions,” she said again.
The Lampung Provincial Government has decided to temporarily close tourist attractions during the Lebaran holiday, to be precise on May 13-16 to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and today is the first day of opening tourist attractions in this area. (rmt/bbs)
