Jakarta, The Indonesia Post – The COVID-19 Task Force reported that there was an increase in the recovery rate of patients exposed to SARS-CoV-2 as many as 4,067 people, according to data compiled in Jakarta as of Sunday afternoon.
With this addition, the total number of COVID-19 cures has reached 5,768,703 people.
The increase in the cure rate was also followed by a decrease in active COVID-19 cases in 2,181 patients undergoing treatment.
From this data, as many as 28 provinces have higher cure rates than positive confirmed cases.
Meanwhile, an increase in positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 also occurred in 1,933 people throughout Indonesia, bringing the total number of sufferers to 6,019,981 people.
As many as 47 people died from COVID-19 today, bringing the total number of patients who died from exposure to the virus to 155,288.
The daily specimen positivity rate is 4.57 percent, and the daily person positivity rate is 3.70 percent.
A total of 82,915 COVID-19 test specimens have been examined and 3,360 people are under surveillance for suspected virus exposure. (mhn/bbs)
