“I saw closely the condition of the Koramil, then saw the assistance we provided to Babinsa as the spearhead of our territorial command,” Prabowo said while at the Mamajang Koramil Office, Makassar, South Sulawesi, Thursday.
The support from the Ministry of Defense (Kemenhan) recorded 1,415 units of trail motorbikes distributed to a number of regional offices of the Hasnuddin XIV Military Command, namely 125 units were placed at the Hasanuddin Makodam.
For Korem 141 Toddopuli in the province of South Sulawesi, it was distributed to 16 district and city Kodim with a total of 870 units. Furthermore, Korem 142 Taroada Tarogau, West Sulawesi Province with seven Kodim, with 280 units, and Korem 143 Halu Oleo, Southeast Sulawesi Province, with four Kodim, with 200 trail motorbikes.
On that occasion, Prabowo also emphasized that Indonesia is a big country, a rich country, of course it requires a strong defense to protect this wealth.
“To protect it, our wealth can be cultivated by ourselves, and we can be used for the prosperity of all Indonesian people. That is our aim. That is our struggle,” emphasized the former Commander General of the TNI Special Forces Corps (Kopasus).
Apart from that, said Prabowo, the government is determined that the Indonesian nation’s wealth is managed by the Indonesian people themselves for the greatest benefit of all Indonesian people.
Therefore, it is urgently needed a safe, peaceful and cool situation and the cooperation of government officials, security forces and territorial military personnel is needed to strengthen cooperation with each other.
