Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Deputy Governor of South Sumatra H. Mawardi Yahya (MY) attended the gathering of traditional leaders and cultural organizations of South Sumatra Province at the Ballroom of Hotel Swarna Dwipa Palembang, Thursday (18/2/2021).
At that opportunity, MY hopes The meeting can raise the spirit of traditional leaders and cultural organizations in supporting the South Sumatra Provincial Government program.
He explained, one of the South Sumatra development programs in the last two years that has provided great benefits to the community is the infrastructure sector where all roads in the South Sumatra region are already good. Apart from that, development in the economic, social, cultural and other sectors should also be intensified.
“I represent the Governor of South Sumatra. I hope for prayers and support for various development policies in South Sumatra, such as the construction of the Musi VI Bridge, which is currently inaugurated and used by the community,” he hoped.
MY added, there are several other major development programs that the South Sumatra Provincial Government will complete, including the construction of the Sriwijaya Grand Mosque in Jakabaring and building an integrated South Sumatra Provincial Government Office.
“The support of all parties, including traditional leaders and cultural mass organizations, is very important for the success of various major programs launched by the South Sumatra Provincial Government,” he said.
At the meeting, a discussion was held in the context of the participation of traditional leaders and cultural organizations in the success of the national Covid-19 vaccination program in South Sumatra.
The meeting aims to share the spirit and values of art and culture and the success of government programs in the implementation of Covid-19 vaccination.
Also attending were the Head of the South Sumatra Province Kesbangpol Agency, Kurniawan, Expert Staff of the Governor of South Sumatra for Social Affairs and Human Resources, M. Riza Pahlevi, Head of the South Sumatra Provincial Social Service, Mirwansyah, Head of the South Sumatra Province Culture and Tourism Office, Aufa Syahrizal, and Head of the South Sumatra Provincial PP Police, M. Aris Saputra. Also present were Heads of Regency / City Kesbangpol Bodies of South Sumatra as well as traditional leaders and heads of cultural mass organizations throughout South Sumatra.
