Burlian Abdullah and the board, located in the Living Room of the Deputy Governor of South Sumatra (18/2/2021).

The presence of the Siti Khadijah Islamic Foundation is in the context of gathering and inviting cooperation with the South Sumatra Provincial Government regarding education as well as in relation to reporting plans to change the status of the Siti Khadijah Health Institute High School to become Siti Khadijah Islamic University.

“Basically the Provincial Government. South Sumatra is ready to serve by accommodating all the things needed so that cooperation can be established, especially since this educational program is very aspirational, “said Deputy Governor Mawardi Yahya (MY).

Clearly, the education sector is a priority for the Provincial Government. South Sumatra is committed to support and has the determination to advance education, especially since the Siti Khadijah Foundation plans to build a university so that education in South Sumatra is more advanced and quality.

“To realize ideas and breakthroughs as well as ideas are needed and careful preparation is needed. There are criteria and conditions that must be met, such as the provision of self-owned land and the motivation for the establishment of the University,” he added.

Mawardi added, regarding the type of hospital and the establishment of universities, especially regarding land, there must be a unification of perceptions and a common goal between the executive, legislative and Siti Khadijah Foundation, if there are obstacles or problems faced, they must be resolved together.

“It is not as easy as we imagine, it does not only require determination, but also requires sponsorship and especially land-related settlement. My advice is that it is necessary and takes a long process to make it happen,” he said.
