“I deliberately came out of my intention to be able to see firsthand the development draft that was running in South Sumatra, one of which was Musi Rawas Regency,” said HD during the implementation of road and bridge infrastructure development in 2020 which took place in the Field of SD Negeri Transad, Yudha Karya Village, Saka Karya District, Regency. Musi Rawas, Sunday (30/8).

According to him, as a regency that is among the oldest in South Sumatra and a division, this regency is not left behind. He assessed that to be separated from a district with a disadvantage predicate was not easy, not only the administrative requirements but also the development requirements that were assessed by the Provincial Government and the Central Government.

“Now Musi Rawas is separated from an underdeveloped regency. With the current Bupati’s efforts, there are villages that are left behind to develop and then develop, only six are left. God willing, we will eliminate those six this year,” HD said.

Not only that, he is also proud of the Regent Musi Rawas for the progress of the region even though during the Covid-19 Pandemic, the enthusiasm did not stop.

“I am proud of Musi Rawas under the leadership of the Regent Hendra, even though during the Covid-19 pandemic, he continues to move forward to build,” he said.

Apart from missing the people of Musi Rawas Regency, his visit was to see first hand what was happening here in real terms.

“Even though the Covid-19 pandemic, we must not stop, but we are still progressing. Do not let our children and grandchildren be angry because we did not build on the grounds of Corona,” he said.

“This year I am giving Rp. 81 billion to develop this area. Enough is not enough, because it is not in accordance with what kindness has been given by the people for obedience so far. I want suggestions like this to continue the Regent’s search,” he said.

In the infrastructure development that will be carried out, he wants this to be felt by the community. “I want Musi Rawas to Palembang within three hours and a half. This is none other than to shorten the distance and automatically reduce costs and accelerate the economy. Gradually I ask 2021 to be completed,” he said.

The Regent of Musi Rawas Regency Hendra Gunawan thanked the Governor Herman Deru for coming and giving assistance in building roads even though he was busy and busy, he still attended the Musi Rawas community.

“Earlier, Rp. 81 billion went to Musi Rawas Regency. This is the first time the Governor has spent such a large amount of money to build the Kabupataten Regency in South Sumatra. Because of what? Because of his vision to realize Advanced South Sumatra for All,” he said.

According to him, the vision and mission carried out by the Governor of South Sumatra to advance the same as in Musi Rawas Regency. “This is the same as what we have done so far. We are building 186 villages. Alhamdulillah, there are six more villages left behind. If we push this road from the Semabang intersection to PALI, the six villages we have passed will also be separated from underdeveloped villages,” he concluded.

Assistance from the Governor of South Sumatra through the Provincial APBD given to the Musi Rawas Regency as much as Rp. 81 billion more which covers the improvement of the boundary road of PALI Regency – Sp. Semabang then infrastructure development for Musi Rawas Regency and a special grant from the Governor for infrastructure development in Musi Rawas Regency. (nfl/rel)
