Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Awakening small traders after the last 2 years during the Covid-19 Pandemic can be done in various ways, one of which is by providing support for every activity that involves small traders in order to help improve their economy.

This was stated by the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru when launching the Opening of the Small Trader Bedug Market organized by the South Sumatra Small Traders Association (P2KSS).

“We appreciate this event because it is a form of concern for small traders,” said Governor Herman Deru (HD).

HD said that it is an honor for us to be appreciated by a group of small traders, we respect their initiative and they also pay attention to us by giving awards as leaders who care about the community.

“I ask that in running the drum market to help order traffic and mainly maintain the freshness of sales in terms of health, because we still maintain the culinary image of South Sumatra,” he concluded.

Head of P2KSS Hj. Yeni said that she asked for support and guidance so that she can take part in revitalizing the economy of South Sumatra, and this activity will be made an annual activity.

On that occasion, Governor Herman Deru received a Certificate of Appreciation for Support and Assistance for the Advancement of the Small Traders Association of South Sumatra. And appreciation to the chairman of the DPRD Prov. Sumsel, Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH, chairman of the DPRD Palembang Zainal, SH Abidin.
