Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The issue of scarcity of cooking oil (migration) that occurs in Indonesia in general and South Sumatra (South Sumatra) in particular including the OKI district has become the attention of the South Sumatra Legislative Council (DPRD).
According to the Deputy Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD, H Muchendi Marzareki, SE, the South Sumatra DPRD held a meeting with the South Sumatra Regional Division of Regional Logistics Agency (Divre) recently.
During the meeting, his party requested that Perum Bulog Divre Sumsel coordinate with Bulog districts/cities in South Sumatra to immediately carry out market operations (OP).
This follows the difficulty of residents finding one of the nine basic necessities (sembako) after the central government set a price for migrant workers as of February 1, 2022.
“Through the DPRD, we have asked the Bulog Divre of South Sumatra to allocate a migrant quota for OKI Regency. The regional head through the related OPD will immediately write to Perum Bulog, OKI Regency,” he said, Saturday (26/2).
In this case, said the South Sumatran Democratic Party politician, the government is only facilitating and preparing the migration by Bulog, including in the OKI Regency.
“Hopefully, with the OP, we can unravel the scarcity of migraine that has occurred so far,” said a member of the South Sumatra DPRD for the III OKI and OI Regions. (ojn/bbs/ril)
