Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Acting Governor of South Sumatra, Agus Fatoni, appreciated the 2024 Peaceful Presidential Election Statement of the South Sumatra United Archipelago Brotherhood (PNSB) Management, as a form of joint commitment in realizing a safe, peaceful and successful South Sumatra.
This was expressed by Fatoni when attending a gathering with the South Sumatra PNSB at Griya Agung Palembang, Monday (5/2/2024). “This is our shared commitment that all ethnic groups domiciled in South Sumatra will realize a safe, peaceful and successful presidential election. “If we are harmonious, peace will be created,” he said.
Fatoni wants this declaration to be widely publicized to the people of South Sumatra, which consists of various ethnic groups. Fatoni asked community figures who are members of PNSB to encourage the community to continue to maintain cultural traditions and build a good image of South Sumatra. According to him, kindness must be published to motivate others to do good.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of South Sumatra PNSB, Syahrial Oesman, hopes that PNSB will be involved in various South Sumatra Provincial Government programs, especially in improving cultural broadcasts in South Sumatra. PNSB has qualified human resources consisting of young people and also various regional traditional clothing.
On that occasion, a Declaration of the Attitude of the PNSB Management was delivered to realize the 2024 peaceful presidential election in order to maintain national unity and unity as a form of joint commitment in maintaining peace and harmony in South Sumatra.
Also present were the Chairman of Commission I DPRD of South Sumatra Province and Chairman of PNSB Banyuasin, Antoni Yuzar, SH., MH., Chairman of Stisipol Chandradimuka and Chairman of Lampung Sai South Sumatra, Dr.Hj. Lishapsari Prihatini, M.Si., Sultan of Palembang Darussalam and Chairman of the Zuriat Community, Sultan Iskandar Mahmud Badarudin. (ojn/ril)
