Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Legislative Council (DPRD) and the Governor of South Sumatra approved the Changes to the 2024 Fiscal Year (TA) APBD which was stated in the form of a Joint Decree between the South Sumatra DPRD and the Governor of South Sumatra at the LXXXVIII Plenary Meeting (88) of the second-level discussion, Tuesday (3/9).
This decision was taken after going through a series of long discussions. Through the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) for the Changes to the 2024 Fiscal Year APBD in the South Sumatra DPRD factions where the Governor’s answer could be accepted at the Plenary Session on August 28, 2024.
Then continued with technical discussions in the commissions with related partners on August 29-30, 2024. As well as a consultation meeting of the commission leaders with the South Sumatra DPRD Budget Agency (Banggar) and the South Sumatra Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD).
The leadership and members of the council held a plenary session to hear the report on the results of the discussion of the South Sumatra DPRD Banggar, on Tuesday. The meeting was led by the Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD RA, RA Anita Noeringhati accompanied by Deputy Chairperson Kartika Sandra Desi and attended by the Acting Governor of South Sumatra Elen Setiadi, Regional Secretary Edward Chandra and OPDs.
The Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD Hj RA Anita Noeringhati expressed her appreciation to all for their support and cooperation in completing the discussion of the Draft Regional Regulation on the 2024 South Sumatra APBD Amendment. Which was then continued by listening to the report on the results of the Banggar discussion on the Draft Regional Regulation in question.
The spokesperson for the Banggar DPRD South Sumatra, Askweni said, the results of the discussion that the estimate for the draft changes to the 2024 South Sumatra APBD was IDR 11,712,259,262,146.00. The details are as follows:

He said that basically the series of discussions on the Draft Regional Regulation material on changes to the 2024 South Sumatra Regional Budget was a real manifestation of the performance of Banggar, commissions along with TAPD and the South Sumatra Inspectorate as the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP).
After reading the report on the results of the Banggar discussion on the Draft Regional Regulation in question and the plenary meeting participants agreed by acclamation. Furthermore, the signing process of the Joint Decision between the executive and legislative branches was carried out on the Draft Regional Regulation on Changes to the 2024 Regional Budget.
South Sumatra Acting Governor Elen Setiadi also appreciated all parties who had discussed the 2024 APBD Changes. He also explained the points that had been agreed upon between the legislature and the executive. (ojn/ril)
