South Sumatra Legislative Council Chairperson Attends Talk Show at the South Sumatra Regional Communication and Youth Forum

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD) Dr Hj RA. Anita Noeringhati SH MH Talk Show held by the South Sumatra Regional Student and Youth Communication Forum with the theme “The Role of Students and Youth in the Development of Digitalization-Based MSMEs and Creative Economy in South Sumatra” at the Ballroom of the Grand Daira Hotel Palembang , Saturday (8/6/2024).

Also present at the event was the Acting Governor of South Sumatra, represented by Assistant III for Administration and General Affairs of the South Sumatra Provincial Secretariat Zulkarnain, SE., MM, PJ Mayor of Palembang, represented by the Head of the Palembang City Education Service H. Ansori, ST, MM, Acting Chair of the South Sumatra FKMD Apriani, SH.

Meanwhile, he was present as a resource person, Head of the South Sumatra Cooperative and UMKM Service, Ir.H.Aminuddin, MSi, Head of the Mahab Rabbani Palembang Islamic Boarding School, Dr.H.Donny Meilando, SHI.MSy, Legal Practical Academic and Owner of Songket Palembang, Dr. Grees Selly, SH.MH, PLH Head of South Sumatra Trade Service Henny Yulianti, SIP, MM represented by Nizar MSi, Lecturer/Psychologist Siska January, S.Psi, .MPsi,CHA, South Sumatra DPRD/Owner Taman Toga Muba Abu Sari ,SH,MSi , Digital Business Actor, Head of PT RFB Palembang, Eko Budhi Prasetyo, SE, and Chairman of Hipmi Sumsel, H. Hermansyah Mastari, SE and other invited guests.

Assistant III for Administration and General Affairs of the Regional Secretariat of South Sumatra Province, Zulkarnain, SE., MM, said that the Provincial Government really supports this activity.

“We say this activity is a pioneer and it is very useful for improving MSMEs in South Sumatra province and improving the economy in South Sumatra province,” he said.

“I see that the implementation has been good. I hope that the output resulting from this talk show can produce creativity or innovation on how to move MSMEs in South Sumatra province to grow more rapidly. So the digitalization system really helps both in making new products, innovation and how to market them. “The provincial government has supported the Department of Cooperatives and MSMEs by providing guidance and facilitating permits and so on,” he said.
On that occasion, Zulkarnain hoped that MSMEs in South Sumatra would grow rapidly and that the products they produced could be marketed both locally and outside the region.

Meanwhile, Chair of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Dr.Hj.R.A.Anita Noeringhati.SH.MH said that she appreciated the South Sumatra FKMD’s theme of the Role of Students and Youth in the Development of Digitalization-Based MSMEs and Creative Economy in South Sumatra.

“In the era of digitalization, we must not fail technology. How does digitalization work for MSMEs? As chairman of the DPRD, I express my appreciation for this activity. “And Mr. PJ Governor has facilitated this activity,” he said.

Anita said that the role of MSMEs was extraordinary, especially during the Covid outbreak.

“During the Covid outbreak, we were not free to leave the house. With digitalization, we can shop from home. So we have to keep up with the times using digitalization. Don’t get bored, don’t give up. “We have to keep up with the times,” he said.

Acting Chair of South Sumatra FKMD Apriani, SH said, we initiated this Talk Show for about a month. For the theme The Role of Students and Youth in the Development of Digitalization-Based MSMEs and Creative Economy in South Sumatra

“Of course, at this event we will present speakers who are competent in their fields, including the MSME service, trade service, digital business players. Then there are psychologists, there are other MSME actors. Of course, this will give rise to solutions on how we can improve our knowledge and skills in the field of business management in the era of digitalization. “So being able to compete internationally is the ultimate benchmark because we cannot be separated from this technological progress,” he said.

“We cannot escape technological progress, because we will be left behind. So we have to be serious about building our digitalization business transformation, especially for payment transactions. “For example, people want to buy meatballs and buy other snacks using online transactions,” he concluded.
