Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Chairperson of the South Sumatra Province Legislative Council (DPRD) Dr. Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH MH, with Acting. Governor of South Sumatra, Dr. Drs.H.Agus Fatoni, M.Sc., accompanied by the Head of South Sumatra Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) Representative, Mr. Andri Yogama, SE., MM., AK., CSFA., held a strategic meeting with member V of BPK RI, Dr.Ir. H. Ahmadi Noor Supit, M.M., CSFA, CGRE, CertDA, CFrA. Taking place in the office of Member V of BPK RI, Jakarta, Friday (5 /01/2024).

During the meeting, South Sumatra leaders discussed various aspects of cooperation between the South Sumatra Provincial Government and the Indonesian Financial Audit Agency (BPK RI).
Chairman of the South Sumatra DPRD, Dr.Hj.RA.Anita Noeringhati SH MH stated the importance of synergy between the regional government and financial supervisory institutions to achieve efficiency and transparency in public financial management.
“We are committed to continuing to improve the accountability and performance of local government for the benefit of the community,” she said.
While Acting The Governor of South Sumatra, H. A. Fatoni, added that collaboration with BPK RI is a strategic step in maintaining integrity and good financial governance.
“We are ready to support the inspection process and work together to achieve common goals,” said the Acting Governor of South Sumatra.
This meeting was also attended by the Head of South Sumatra BPK Representative, Andri Yogama, who presented the results of the examination and recommendations for improvements in financial management at the provincial level.
With this collaboration, it is hoped that it can strengthen financial supervision in South Sumatra and increase accountability in public budget management. In addition, this meeting is also a form of regional government commitment to support efforts to prevent and handle potential financial risks. (ojn/ril)
