Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Chairperson of the South Sumatra legislative Council (DPRD), Dr. RA. Anita Noeringhati SH MH, held a hearing with the South Sumatra R4 cross-communication forum for the application parties (Gojek, Grab and Maxim) and related OPDs in order to follow up on the joint hearing with the R4 cross-communication forum regarding complaints from online taxi drivers against the application, regarding the tariff scheme received by online taxi drivers in South Sumatra. Held in the Banggar room of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Friday (13/09/2024).
The Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Dr. Anita Noering Hati, emphasized that all applicators in South Sumatra must have representatives. If there are applicators who do not have representatives in South Sumatra, we consider them dark or illegal.
For South Sumatra, I ask to be blocked because of what, First, it is not registered, second, there is no representative office, third, it is difficult for us to communicate if there are complaints like this.
Because I always hope that South Sumatra, if there are complaints from the community on a large scale, it is better for us to sit together at one table like this so that we can find the best solution.
We hope that on this occasion the Head of Transportation, Communication and Information, PTSP, let’s enforce the regulations in South Sumatra by listening to both parties.
“I am not taking sides, but I also understand that these online drivers must be protected”. (ojn/ril)
