Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Acting Governor of South Sumatra (Sumsel) Elen Setiadi, S.H, M.S.E accompanied by Acting Chairperson of TP PKK South Sumatra Melza Elen welcomed the return of the 30th National Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) delegation from South Sumatra in the VIP room of SMB II airport, Monday (16/9/2024) evening.
The arrival of the South Sumatra MTQ delegation coincided with the end of the 2024 XXX National MTQ event in Samarinda, East Kalimantan Province, which was officially closed on Sunday (15/9/2024), at exactly 22:30 WITA.
For the achievements that the South Sumatra MTQ delegation has carved out by achieving fifth (5th) position, Acting Governor Elen Setiadi expressed his highest appreciation and gratitude.
According to him, the achievement of achievements in this MTQ is certainly not the end of the struggle, of course the hope is that the achievements of the South Sumatra province in the national MTQ/STQH event can be maintained or further improved in the coming year. (ojn/ril)
