South Sumatra Legislative Council Chairperson Receives APDESI South Sumatra Audience

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD), Mrs. Dr. Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH., Received an Audience with the Association of All Indonesian Village Governments (APDESI) of South Sumatra in the Banggar Meeting Room of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Thursday, (8/8/2024).

The Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD, Hj Anita Noeringhati, expressed her readiness to oversee the aspirations of the Association of Village Governments of All Indonesia (Apdesi) of South Sumatra.

“We understand the needs of village budgets in South Sumatra. The DPRD will study this proposal and coordinate with the provincial government to find the best solution,” she said, when receiving an audience with Apdesi management, Thursday (8/8/2024).

This was conveyed when Apdesi complained to the people’s representatives in the South Sumatra DPRD. They demanded the promise of special financial assistance to the village.

“Asking the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD to also fight for the aspirations of village heads throughout South Sumatra,” said the Chairperson of the South Sumatra Apdesi, Mulyanto, who was received directly by the Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD, Dr Hj RA Anita Noeringhati SH MH.

Anita added that the DPRD fully supports efforts to improve development and the welfare of village communities.

“We hope that with good collaboration between the regional government and villages, South Sumatra can be more advanced and prosperous,” she added.

Apdesi had previously met with the Governor and DPRD of South Sumatra, but the result until 2024 was that the Governor’s assistance had not been realized.

“So today, with fellow village heads in South Sumatra, we urge the DPR to hold a DPR initiative proposal for this budget in 2025,” he said.

“Alhamdulillah, earlier, Mrs. Anita as the Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD welcomed this attitude and she will oversee it to the South Sumatra Provincial Government,” he added. (ojn/ril)
