Acting Governor Elen Setiadi: Develop Tourism and Natural Potential of Lake Ranau for International Events

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The excitement and excitement of the 2024 Sriwijaya Ranau Gran Fondo (SRGF) cycling sport was closed directly by the Acting Governor of South Sumatra, Elen Setiadi, who also directly presented prizes to the winners of the competition accompanied by the Acting Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial PKK TP, Melza Elen Setiadi and other Companions.

The winners of the competition at the event were the first place MTB Men Open, Ade Setian (South Sumatra Province), second Ade Agung Dian Tara (South Sumatra Province) and third Derrick (Lampung).

Women Open Category, First Place, Caezaa Zabina Ramadhan (East Kalimantan), Second Aurella Shabrina Azkha (South Sumatra), Third Caezzy Zabina Ramadhan (East Kalimantan)

Men Master B Category, First Place, Febri Latra (South Sumatra), Second, Ryan Rahadiansyah (Lampung), Third, Ronny Sanjaya (South Sumatra).

Men Master A Category, First Place, Rian Setiawan (Lampung), Second, Riki Darmawan (Lampung), Third, Rahmat Ramadhan (Lampung).

Men Junior Category, First Place, Arya Danendra Fatier Utomo (South Sumatra), Second, Frans Marolo Sinurat (Lampung), Third Nanda Andika (Lampung).

Men Elite Category, First Place M Fachri Naufal Barokah (Jambi), Second Ilham (Jambi), Third Choiru Alfi (Lampung).

In his remarks, the Acting Governor of South Sumatra Elen Setiadi warmly welcomed and appreciated the implementation of the 2024 Sriwijaya Ranau Gran Fondo (SRGF). According to him, the event will have a tremendous impact on the progress and economy in South OKU Regency.

“This Competition and Tourism activity certainly has a Multiplayer effect on the people of South OKU. We will continue to provide support for the development of tourism here. “In the future, we will think of a good strategy so that this event is not only attended by domestic participants but can also attract participants from abroad,” said Elen Setiadi at the Closing Ceremony of Sriwijaya Ranau Gran Fondo 2024 at the Lake Ranau Icon, OKUS Regency, Saturday (10/8/2024).

He also said that the tourism potential in Lake Ranau can continue to be developed by increasing similar events, such as the Lake Ranau Marathon which can be realized next year.

In addition, he also assessed that the development of tourism in OKUS can be packaged with other tourism such as coffee plantation agro-tourism and so on.

After handing over the prizes, Acting Governor of South Sumatra Elen Setiadi continued his activities by holding a Talkshow with the OJK Representative Office of South Sumatra Babel and TVRI South Sumatra at the Coffee Culture Icon of Lake Ranau, OKUS Regency.

Also present were the Regent of South OKU Regency Popo Ali Martopo and the Heads of OPDs of South Sumatra Province. (ojn/ril)
