Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD), Andi Dinialdie, SH MM received an award at the South Sumatra KPU awards night which was held to give awards to Forkopimda, Bawaslu, Working Partners and related Stakeholders for their synergy in organizing the 2024 Gubernatorial and Deputy Gubernatorial Elections at the Santika Premier Hotel, Monday (20/1/2025).
The Acting Governor of South Sumatra said that this is our night of meeting with great happiness and I appreciate the ranks of the KPU who have held this event. We make this mark as a form of achievement for appreciation to all parties who have participated in securing the Pilkada.
Elen Setiadi also expressed his gratitude to the ranks of the South Sumatra Regional Leadership Coordination Forum, the KPU and the Election Supervisory Body who have worked together to make the Pilkada in South Sumatra a success.
“We can all prove that South Sumatra has succeeded in holding the Pilkada safely and peacefully, of course this is assistance from all parties involved. Alhamdulillah there was no commotion and prominent incidents,” he said.
Through this opportunity forum, Ellen also hopes that the regional heads who have been elected and officially determined as winners by the KPU can develop South Sumatra, cities and regencies in South Sumatra with programs that have been conveyed during the campaign.
“We hope that the regional heads who have been elected can immediately develop South Sumatra with their superior programs,” he hoped.
For your information, the South Sumatra government has fully supported the implementation of regional head elections in South Sumatra, one of which is that the South Sumatra provincial government always carries out coordination and synergy with related stakeholders in order to realize the implementation of smooth and safe elections.
The South Sumatra Provincial Government has provided a grant in the form of funding to the KPU Bawaslu of the Sriwijaya II Military Command and the South Sumatra Regional Police to make the 2024 simultaneous elections in South Sumatra a success.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the South Sumatra KPU, Andika Pranata, in his remarks said that the communication, coordination and synergy with the Forkopimda and all parties who have been partners of the KPU since the beginning of the Election and Pilkada have gone well thanks to the dedication of all parties.
