Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province determined the 2025 Work Plan (Renja) at the XCIII Plenary Meeting (93) which was stated in the Decision of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD in the South Sumatra DPRD Plenary Meeting Room, today (Friday, 13/9).
The XCIII Plenary Meeting (93) with the agenda of Determination of the 2025 South Sumatra Provincial DPRD Work Plan (Renja) was led by the Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD; Dr. Hj. R.A.Anita Noeringhati, SH, MH, accompanied by the Deputy Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD; Hj. Kartika Sandra Desi, SH, MM attended by the Acting Governor of South Sumatra; Elen Setiadi, SH, M.S.E, Regional Secretary; Drs. H. Edward Chandra, MH, Secretary of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD; H. Aprizal. S.Ag, S.E, M.Si, Representatives of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) and other invited guests.
Starting the Plenary Meeting, the Chairperson of the Plenary Meeting / Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD explained the basis and background of the Renja determination process:
“Based on the Provisions of Article 84 of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD Regulation Number 94 of 2021 concerning amendments to the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD Regulation Number 22 of 2020 concerning the rules of procedure of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, it is stated that the DPRD Work Plan is prepared based on the proposed work plan of the DPRD’s supporting apparatus to the DPRD Leadership to be determined in a Plenary Meeting”
“The preparation of the DPRD Work Plan is prepared in the form of a program and list of activities. Furthermore, the DPRD Leadership submits the DPRD Work Plan to the DPRD Secretary for alignment. the results of the alignment of the DPRD Work Plan are submitted to the DPRD Leadership to be determined in a Plenary Meeting.” explained the Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD.
Before the 2025 South Sumatra Provincial DPRD work plan is determined, approval must first be requested from the plenary meeting participants.
“I would like to ask the honorable Plenary Meeting participants, “can the 2025 South Sumatra Provincial DPRD work plan be approved and not read?” asked the meeting leader, and by acclamation the Plenary Meeting participants answered: Agreed!.
After all participants have approved the Renja, it was continued with the signing process of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD Decision, the draft of which had first been read by the Secretary of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD; H. Aprizal. S.Ag, S.E, M.Si.
Closing the Plenary Meeting, the Chairman of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD advised that the Renja in question can be a guideline for the implementation of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD’s future duties: “With the completion of the signing of the decision, I, on behalf of the leadership, hope that the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD’s work plan can be a guideline for the future in carrying out its duties,” concluded the Chairman of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD.
