Here, this member of the South Sumatra DPRD had time to check the condition of the rice in the Bulog warehouse.

Head of Bulog Regional Division of South Sumatra and Babylon, Eko Hari Kuncahyo and his staff said that the arrival of the South Sumatra DPRD members was a form of concern for the community ahead of Ramadan and Eid.

“For rice, cooking oil and cooking oil, the stock is safe for the next 6 months. The South Sumatra DPRD wants to know what Bulog’s role is,” he said.

He admitted that he appreciated the recess of the South Sumatra DPRD members and hoped that he would always get the support of the South Sumatra DPRD in carrying out the Bulog function.

Meanwhile, M Yansuri said that he had gone to Bulog to find out the stock of food before the fasting month of Ramadan. “Thank God the food stock is safe.

“For frozen meat until Eid is safe and the price will not increase until Eid. However, for local food such as rice, it is adjusted to the market price so it can go up or down. Also including cooking oil, the stock is safe, but the price is adjusted to the market price, because it has been released by the government. In the past, the price of packaged migraine was Rp. 13 thousand or Rp. 14 thousand per liter. Now it’s Rp 22 thousand per liter,” he said.

Yansuri further said that one of the functions of the board is in the field of supervision.

“So we went to Bulog to find out the stock. If the stock is lacking, we will try to find a solution. Including if there is a high food price increase, then we will ask Bulog to carry out market operations. Because the function of Bulog is to stabilize prices and food stocks are safe,” he said. Then the recess was continued at the Sako Mandiri Market. (mhn/bbs/ril)
