Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru attended a special plenary meeting on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Regency in the plenary meeting room of the OKI Regency House of Representative (DPRD), Monday (11/10).
Herman Deru assessed that, at the age of 76, there has been a lot of progress in various sectors in the OKI Regency, from road infrastructure, bridges and other infrastructure to agricultural progress in the Regency.
He even asked that in the future the OKI Regency could continue to be serious in working on and improving community welfare mega projects which include various sectors so that the mission of South Sumatra to advance evenly can be realized immediately.
In addition, he also hopes that this 76th Anniversary is used as a means of self-reflection so that the current shortcomings can be corrected.
“Happy 76th Anniversary to OKI Regency. Hopefully this Regency will continue to contribute in advancing South Sumatra
On the other hand, Herman Deru also witnessed the ratification of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) of the OKI Regency 2022.
He also gave his appreciation because OKI Regency was the first region to ratify the 2022 APBD.
According to him, this proves the solidity between the executive and the legislature so that the draft regional regulation can be quickly tapped.
Present at the plenary meeting were OKI Regent H Iskandar, OKI Deputy Regent HM Djakfar Sodiq, OKI DPRD Chairman Apriyanto Fikri, Pali Deputy Regent H Soemarjono, OIC DPRD Members and a number of officials in the South Sumatra Provincial Government and OKI Regency. (mhn/ril)
