Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The commitment of the Governor of South Sumatra, H Herman Deru, to equalize development in 17 regencies/cities continues to be carried out through the Special Financial Assistance (BKBK) of the South Sumatra Provincial Government.
Similar to other regencies/cities in South Sumatra, Deputy Regent of Muratara Junius Wahyudi and his staff presented a proposal for BKBK to the Governor of South Sumatra Herman Deru at the Meeting Room of the South Sumatra Governor’s Office, Monday (4/28/2025).
“We will provide assistance to the area with three clusters, namely, super priority, priority and ongoing programs,” said Governor Herman Deru.
For super priority, Herman Deru said that sustainable infrastructure development has the potential to be very beneficial if continued or stalled.
“This will have a broad and good impact such as improving the economy and community welfare,” he said.
Furthermore, as a priority, Herman Deru said this is the same as a super priority that is beneficial to the community.
“So infrastructure is not only roads, bridges but also hospitals, schools including communication services and other development,” he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Regent of Muratara, Junius Wahyudi explained the proposals submitted to the Governor of South Sumatra such as bridge infrastructure, roads, housing sector, environmental sector, lighting and others. (ojn/ril)
