Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The humanitarian aid initiated by the Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru was in the form of providing free oxygen, a flood of appreciation from the Governors of Indonesia.
After West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil appreciated through his personal Instagram account, appreciation also came from Bengkulu Governor Dr. Dr. H. Rohidin Mersyah.
It was known when Governor HD opened the first free oxygen delivery service on Friday (30/7) at PT. Pusri. On the sidelines of the gift, HD was seen communicating with Rohidin Mersyah via a video call connection.
At that time, HD was accompanied by the Deputy Regent of South Bengkulu and the Head of the Bengkulu Industry and Trade Agency who were present to immediately escort the Bengkulu iso tank to PT Pusri.
From the brief communication between the two regional heads, it appears that Governor Rohidin has expressed his gratitude several times for being assisted with free oxygen to meet the needs of Bengkulu residents during the Covid pandemic.
“Representing the government and on behalf of the people of Bengkulu, we thank you,” said Rohidin closing the short call.
For information, apart from West Java and Bengkulu, this free oxygen aid was also given to other neighboring provinces, namely Lampung. (rmt/ril)
