Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra (Sumsel) H Herman Deru appreciated the concern of the Minister of SOEs of the Republic of Indonesia, Erick Thohir in developing the region through the Social Healing Event “Sumatran’s Fortune for Indonesia or E-Troopers intended for the community.
“Erick Thohir’s concern should be appreciated in developing the area by building the environment and public facilities,” said Herman Deru while attending the Social Healing Event “Sumatran’s Fortune for Indonesia (Sumsel E-Troopers Gathering) was organized by the Erick Thohir Foundation.
For this reason, the South Sumatran Development Minister hopes that the development that has been given by the Minister of SOEs will be maintained and utilized properly.
“We have to maintain the facilities that have been built and use them properly,” he said.
Not only that, on the sidelines of his speech, the Innovative Governor asked for the support of the Minister of SOEs to realize the construction of the Tanjung Carat Port.
“We ask for the support of the minister, hopefully Tanjung Carat will become a reality,” he said
Meanwhile, the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thorir, said that E-Troopers is a social foundation that aims to help the community overcome trauma due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Erick said that E-Troopers’ activities have received support and sympathy from the public. For this reason, he hopes that this social healing activity can continue to a wider area in Indonesia.
For South Sumatra itself, as many as 80 points have been carried out in South Sumatra, this is also thanks to the community’s cooperation. (mhn/ril)
