PALEMBANG, TheIndonesiaPost – Governor of South Sumatra Herman Deru is proud and grateful for the final casting of the Ogan Bridge, related to the Betung Ship Toll Road. The governor believes this toll road will have a positive impact on aspects of people’s lives in South Sumatra.
The Governor of South Sumatra, Herman Deru attended the Final Casting of the Ogan Bridge, which was previously preceded by a Video Conference with the Minister of PUPR RI, Mochamad Basuki Hadimuljono, as reported by the South Sumatra Communication and Information Technology and Public Relations team of the South Sumatra Provincial Government.
On that occasion, HD said that the toll road that had been built before connecting Palembang and Lampung was a blessing for the Province of South Sumatra and Lampung Province as a means of exchanging commodities and even the friendship was getting closer both socially and culturally because it was a family.
“For that, I thank the Minister and especially President Jokowi for building the toll road in South Sumatra,” HD said.
In addition, HD conveys the risk of the construction of the Toll Road that connects Trans Sumatra and Palindra, making Palembang a Bottleneck which causes congestion everywhere, given the different driver’s objectives, one of which is to Banyuasin Regency.
“I beg the Minister, before the completion of the Betung Ship Toll Road in order to pay attention to national roads in South Sumatra, especially those heading to Banyuasin and to the Regency / City to make feeder lines so that the completed toll roads can be utilized as much as possible, “Said HD.

“Mr. Minister, we pray specifically in the midst of this pandemic outbreak, hopefully, the Minister is always given health and is always loved by the people of South Sumatra,” HD said before closing the video conference. (hms / kominfo)
