PALEMBANG, The Indonesia Post – Deputy Governor of South Sumatra Province (Sumsel) Ir. H Mawardi Yahya responded positively to the responses of factions in the South Sumatra Regional People’s Representative Assembly (DPRD) related to the discussion of the South Sumatra DPRD Raperda Initiative Concerning Improving Discipline and Law Enforcement in Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Disasters which was held at the 20th Plenary Session of 2020 DPRD South Sumatra Province Building, Thursday (19 / 11/20).
According to him, the rules related to the Health Protocol in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic are very much needed by the community when carrying out their daily activities.
“Alhamdulillah, this will be better. Because it will regulate the procedures for people’s lives to avoid the spread of Covid-19,” he said.
The seriousness of the regional government in suppressing the spread of covid 19 in South Sumatra, continued the Deputy Governor, has long been carried out by the issuance of the South Sumatra Governor Regulation (Pergub) Number: 37 of 2020 Guidelines for Adaptation of New Habits Towards a Productive and Safe Society in the Covid-19 Situation.
“The government together with the legislature have shown their passion in handling Covid. We hope that in the future the public will pay more attention to health problems by complying with the health protocols stipulated in the product of the law, “he said.
Meanwhile, 9 factions in the South Sumatra DPRD expressed their opinion and supported the proposal of the South Sumatra DPRD DPRD Initiative Raperda Concerning Increasing Discipline and Law Enforcement in Preventing Communicable Diseases and Disasters.
The 9 factions were each Golkar faction conveyed by Faction H spokesman David Harianto, then the views of the PDI-P faction through his spokesman Ike Mayasari, SH. BC. Gerindra Faction conveyed by Faction spokesman, Asgianto ST. Continued with the Democratic Faction through a spokesman for Drs H Agandi Sugit MM, the PKB faction was addressed by Farhan Kholidi.
The opinion of the Nasdem Faction was read by Yenni Elita S.Pd..M.M, the PKS Faction through the spokesperson, H Aswandi S.Pd, the PAN faction presented by H Toyib Prabembang, S. Ag and finally the Hanura Perindo Faction through the spokesperson, H Syahrudin ST MM.
With the approval of the 9 fractions, the discussion of the South Sumatra DPRD DPRD Initiative Raperda Concerning the Improvement of Discipline and Law Enforcement in the Prevention of Communicable Diseases and Disasters entered a new phase, namely the process of forming a Special Committee (Pansus) because it was completed at the first meeting stage.
Furthermore, the discussion will continue with the discussion and research agenda of the Special Committee which was formed at the second level on December 4 2020.
Then the Special Committee that has been formed will carry out the discussion and research process from 19 November to 3 December 2020. (ray/ril)
