#Follow up on President Jokowi’s Direction
PALEMBANG, TheIndonesiaPost – In order to strengthen the readiness for the implementation of the 2020-2024 RPJMN Major Project that will be carried out in the RKP of 2021, the Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru attended the Video Conference Conference on National Development Planning (Musrenbangnas) 2020 with Indonesian President Joko Widodo.
President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo opened the 2020 Musrenbangnas through Video Conference which is an annual cycle that will be planned for 2021 with the development of the current situation.
The initial draft RKP 2021 took the theme “Accelerating Economic Recovery and Social Reform” which focused on the development of Industrial Recovery, Tourism, and Investment, National Health System Recovery, Social Security Network System Recovery, Disaster Resilience System Recovery.
In his remarks, Jokowi emphasized that the impact of the Covid pandemic and its policy response to National Development had an impact on achieving the 2020-2024 RPJMN target. Therefore the theme of RKP 2021 needs to be adaptive and responsive to the Covid outbreak and its recovery process by emphasizing certain development agendas, which are relevant to the situation at hand and the interventions to be carried out in 2021.
“I am optimistic that the year 2021 will be a year of recovery, besides accelerating to face Covid19, we also need to accelerate development recovery. I ask the Governors to design a similar program to strengthen and expand the economic stimulus that has been provided by the central government, in preparing the program I ask to run with a clear and transparent scheme,” he stressed.
As a manifestation of the effectiveness and efficiency of development, the Ministry of PPN / Bappenas together with the Ministry of Finance is preparing the restructuring of the Program and K / L budgeting.
Meanwhile, after attending the video conference of South Sumatra Governor H.Herman Deru revealed that he would immediately follow up on the direction of Indonesian President Joko Widodo.
