Herman Deru SH.MM who is also the Chairman of the South Sumatra Perbakin Province attended as well as conducted the Inauguration and inauguration of the Lahat Regency Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) and the Indonesian Shooting Association (Perbakin) Lahat Regency Period of Service 2020-2024, Wednesday ( 21/10/20) at the Bukit Telunjuk Lahat Sports Hall. Herman Deru asked them not to be disoriented to the new KONI and Perbakin administrators.
For KONI, for example, HD asked the management to really be oriented towards sports achievement. However, the achievements that are built must be built with the authenticity of regional players, not the other way around being proud to use athletes from other regions to make achievements.
“Since becoming Regent, I have always emphasized it. Never be proud of using other regional athletes. Because this is an event for us to forge achievements,” he said.
Likewise for the newly appointed Perbakin Lahat administrators, according to him, do not just be proud because they have been appointed as managers. After the inauguration, he hopes that the management will immediately provide guidance and educational functions to students and the community.
“That’s why I ordered the Regent, lessons on shooting sports can be introduced to schools. Please introduce shooting, starting from the legal rules to the technicalities,” HD said.
Furthermore, HD said that he appreciated the commitment of Lahat Regency to promote the sport of shooting. Especially in providing guidance and education facilities because it was carried out directly by the Regent Cik Ujang who was also the Head of Perbakin Lahat.
“But still the task is not simple because in terms of meeting the need for weapons it is sometimes difficult to contain. This is where the role of the board, KONI and the police to provide guidance,” he explained.
As the Chairman of Perbakin, HD hopes that while eradicating the existence of illegal weapons with the Police, Perbakin Lahat officials can also be an example for the community. Not only is it known by its image as an expensive sport but administrators also have to introduce that shooting is a productive sport.
In addition to socialization and education, HD urged the management to immediately increase cooperation with related parties in providing shooting ranges. For example, in collaboration with the local TNI and Battalion. So that achievement is not hampered by reasons of the lack of field availability.
In front of hundreds of KONI and Perbakin Lahat administrators, HD also did not forget to remind them to contribute because soon South Sumatra will host the U-20 World Cup next year. He wants this implementation to be echoed to remote villages in Lahat Regency.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the South Sumatra KONI H. Hendri Zainuddin S.Ag told the new KONI Lahat board so that they could work together with the Regent of Lahat Regency. He hopes that with this synergy, Lahat Regency will be more successful in the Porprov event next year at OKU Raya.
“In addition to improving achievements, with this synergy, it is certainly hoped that Lahat can host the upcoming 2023 Porprov,” he explained.
In the same place, the Regent of Lahat who is also the Head of Perbakin, Cik Ujang SH, said he was very happy because the board of KONI and Perbakin Lahat had been appointed by the Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru.
He also asked for support and prayers so that the board of KONI and Perbakin Lahat can carry out their duties smoothly so that Lahat as the leading regency in South Sumatra.
“Hopefully KONI and Perbakin can prepare Lahat to take part in Porprov 2021 at OKU Raya. Don’t embarrass Lahat if we can be the General Champion. So that Lahat deserves to be chosen to host the next Porprov,” he said.
Not only grateful for the arrival of HD inaugurating the management of KONI and Perbakin. On that occasion, Cik Ujang was also very grateful for the infrastructure development assistance that the Provincial Government has provided for more than Rp. 33 billion
The inauguration of the Perbakin Lahat committee was marked by the reading of the Provincial Perbakin Decree regarding the inauguration of the Perbakin Lahat committee.
